While Candice achieved fame in the field of acting, she initially started out her career as a musician. The debut album of Candice, Always the Innocent Ones in United States, was released in 2009. The album was written by her out of the 14 tracks on the album. She worked simultaneously on both her acting as well as guest staring in two series, one of which was How I Met Your Mother. Even though her acting career has progressed, she didn't get noticed before The Vampire Diaries. Instantly, the series became a household name. Candice King's brilliant performance and acting were praised. She reprised her role for the 171-episode show's eight seasons. Her recurring role was seen in The Originals, a spin-off in the year 2018, as well as Legacies which is a series for 2021.
